LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy for Sexuality, Identity & Relationships

Therapy Without Judgment About Who You Are or How You Love

Sexuality and identity can be deeply personal. Therapy should provide a place where you can explore those parts of yourself without having to defend, explain, or justify who you are. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming and sex-positive therapy for adults exploring sexuality, relationships, intimacy, identity, and the ways these experiences intersect with mental health.

Therapy Does Not Include

  • Conversion therapy - it is illegal and ineffective

  • Your queerness is not a mental health diagnosis

  • Forcing or pressuring you come out

  • Forcing or pressuring you to "cut off your family"

Therapy May Include

  • Coming out and identity development

  • Intimacy

  • Sexual communication

  • Sexual shame

  • Relationship concerns

  • Exploring relationship styles and dynamics

  • Kink-aware therapy

  • Boundaries and consent

  • Family and relationship dynamics

  • Sexuality after trauma

Affirming Does Not Mean Prescriptive

Your relationships and sexuality do not need to look a particular way for therapy to be useful. My role is not to tell you what your relationship, sexuality, or identity should look like. It is to help you understand yourself, communicate your needs, navigate relationships, and make choices that are consistent with your values.

Virtual LGBTQ+ & Sexuality Therapy

Virtual therapy is available throughout California and Pennsylvania, including Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, San Francisco, Fremont, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and communities throughout both states. If you're looking for an LGBTQ+-affirming, sex-positive therapist who can talk about sexuality and relationships without judgment, contact me to discuss whether we're a good fit.
