Trauma Therapy or EMDR

Trauma can affect much more than memories.

It can influence relationships, boundaries, emotional regulation, self-worth, decision-making, body responses, and the way you experience yourself and the world around you.

Trauma therapy provides a space to understand those patterns and work toward feeling safer, more regulated, and more in control of your life.

Trauma Therapy May Help With

  • Childhood and developmental trauma

  • Complex trauma

  • Relationship trauma

  • Medical trauma

  • Sexual trauma

  • Difficult or overwhelming life experiences

  • Emotional regulation

  • Boundaries

  • Shame and self-worth

  • Relationship patterns

  • Anxiety and hypervigilance

  • Major life transitions following traumatic experiences

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is one approach that may be incorporated into trauma treatment when clinically appropriate. Not every client needs EMDR, and trauma treatment is not a one-size-fits-all process. We will determine together what approach best fits your goals, history, and current circumstances.

Virtual Trauma Therapy

I provide virtual trauma therapy to eligible clients throughout California and Pennsylvania, including Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, San Francisco, Fremont, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and communities throughout both states. In home trauma intensive services may also be available in California.
